Narrative Healing
Awaken the Stories Within
Build a writing practice that helps you listen with compassion, express what matters, and find belonging through the stories we share.
Writing brings us home to ourselves. Stories bring us home to one another.
There is a path here, and you can enter it anywhere.
It begins with the book and opens into a practice you can keep. Most writers move between these over time, and the work deepens as they go.

01 · The book
Narrative Healing: Awaken the Power of Your Story
The written foundation of this practice — a somatic guide to writing, creativity, and connection. Read it on your own, at your own pace, and let it take you wherever you want to go next.
“Lisa Weinert gives us a timely reminder that a writer is a body and not just an intellect. Somatic practices and writing prompts combine to resource the nervous system and release hidden stories. Whether you want to write your way to healing or open yourself to deeper and more authentic writing, this book is a must-read.”
New York Times bestselling author of My Grandmother’s Hands

Founder
About Lisa
Lisa Weinert founded Narrative Healing™ so writers, caregivers, teachers, and seekers could meet the page through the body, in community, and with care.
Lisa is a book coach, editor, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and licensed social worker who spent a decade in publishing at Penguin Random House. Today she teaches, speaks, and leads Narrative Healing workshops and retreats around the world, gathering an international community to write, listen, and bear witness to one another’s stories.
The community
Join a vibrant community where your stories matter.
Most programs sell you material to work through by yourself. This is a room with people in it, and Lisa in the room with you.
Live practice, held in community
Weekly writing sessions, monthly master workshops, and community gatherings — real time, real voices, and a practice you can return to.
A private room, off the algorithm
Nothing here is ranked, promoted, or performed. Conversations stay among the people having them.
Led by Lisa
She guides every gathering herself — breath, movement, and prompts that bring you into the body before the writing starts.
Accountability and belonging
Writers who notice when you go quiet, and who welcome you back whenever you return.
“I felt connected to kindred spirits who lived the same experience as me and that was really affirming and necessary.”
